Maintenance/Software Technician Job Title: Maintenance/Software Technician Location: Market Harborough Salary: £35K - £40K + Stay Away Allowance Shift: Days Industry: Safety Critical Components Company Description: A leading manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance/Software Technician to join their team due to further expansion. You will assist in the commission and repair of automated inspection systems both in the UK and Abroad. You will also provide a remote / telephone support service for customers. Responsibilities as Maintenance/Software Technician: * Provide a remote support service for customers troubleshooting basic issues. * Travel to client sites to assist in the commission of equipment & software at clients’ sites (UK and Abroad) Skills & Experience required as Maintenance/Software Technician: * Ideally hold a qualification within either engineering OR IT * Experience in a technician or helpdesk role supporting customers with the troubleshooting and repair of equipment. * Basic electrical abilities. * Basic mechanical skills using hand tools. * Must be proficient within IT - Software Installation. * Experience customer facing. * Able and willing to travel UK and overseas (expected 25% of the year - 2 weeks at a time) This position is commutable from: * Market Harborough, Kibworth, Kettering, Leicester, Wigston Relevant Job Titles: Electrical Engineer, Electrical Installation Engineer, Installation Engineer All applicants must live in the UK and be eligible to work and live in the UK.
